Timothy Forrester (he/him)

Timothy is a composer and performer who completed his undergraduate studies in musical theatre and recently completed a Masters degree at the Queensland Conservatorium with a focus on film scoring and virtual orchestral compositions. In addition to working as a singing teacher and composer, he has musically directed and performed in a number of shows and cabarets around Australia.

Katie Swan (she/they)

Katie Swan graduated from the Ballarat Arts Academy with a bachelor in Music Theatre, and has spent the last five years dreaming, creating, writing and performing as both a visual and performing artist. Katie’s theatre highlights include The Laramie Project, Urinetown, Thoroughly Modern Millie and The Mystery of Edwin Drood. Her cabaret highlights are The End (2021), Grown (2020), Heart Songs (2019), A New Summer (2016-17), The Songs of Laura Nyro (Midsumma Festival, 2015) and Who’s Afraid of the Big, Bad Everything (2015). Their directorial credits include John and Jen (2021), April’s Fool (2021) and The Laramie Project (2019). Katie’s proudest moment is when they played the pivotal role of ‘person taking off their jacket’ in Aunty Donna’s Two People Wear the Same Tie to Work.

Katie believes in individuality and creative freedom through every medium.  Impassioned to champion and teach young performing artists, Katie works as a singing teacher in their private studio and teaches singing and acting at Fame Theatre Company. She is currently completing her masters in Vocal Pedagogy at the QLD Conservatorium of Music.

Tony Dean Bio Tony graduated from the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, with a Bachelor of Music specialising in jazz drums, in 2006. Since then, Tony has been a professional musician and has performed as a multi-instrumentalist across Australia, America, Costa Rica, Ireland and Scotland. Tony Dean also works as a music producer, choir assistant-musical director, and music educator.

Tony performs around Brisbane as an in-demand covers singer, jazz drummer/vocalist, and freelance studio musician. In 2019 he played drums with Glenn Shorrock during Queensland Music Festivals Help Is On It's Way mass-choir performance. Most recently he played drums and provided backing vocals for Emma Dean’s 2020 Brisbane Festival hit show Hot Mess Mama.

Tony is also the accompanist and assistant musical director of community choir Cheep Trill. This year with Cheep Trill, Tony helped release Computer Choir – an online worldwide choir, and Stories From a Shower Singer – a podcast for music lovers. When Tony isn’t performing, working with Cheep Trill or in Tiny Dream Studios, he is an in demand musical educator. He currently teaches 25 instrumental and vocal students per week from his private home studio and is also studying a Masters of Vocal Pedagogy at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music.

Annie Silva (she/her)

Annie is an instrumental musician specialising in strings. She completed her undergraduate studies in Classical Violin at the Queensland Conservatorium, during which she appeared as concertmaster of the Conservatorium Symphony Orchestra, performed a concerto with the Wind Orchestra, wrote a thesis about groove, and graduated with Class I Honours.

Since then, she has been a regular in local theatre pits as a bassist, violist, and violinist, most recently in Once on This IslandJesus Christ Superstar, and Next to Normal. She was a founding member of Brisbane band The Boxties, and has performed in the Queensland Pops Orchestra, the Brisbane Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Queensland Symphony Orchestra. Annie is also a keen linguist, and last year completed studies in Linguistics at the University of Queensland.
